Jxve - I.R.R.R.R.M.Y.

Jxve is a rising star with multiple viral moments under his belt. “I Really Really Really Really Miss You” (or “I.R.R.R.R.M.Y.”) is the newest song added to Jxve’s discography, which already consists of multiple songs with over a million streams.

Emotion bleeds through Jxve’s lyrics and vibrant melodies. “I.R.R.R.R.M.Y.” is a grief stricken song written in memory of JXVE’s cousin who was murdered by gun violence. As a soulful expression in its purest form, the song will connect to anyone who has experienced loss.

Through personal experience of losing a sibling myself, as the writer of this review, I connect strongly to the message of JXVE’s newest song. The ebb and flow of time can eat at the strongest memories. Even the sound of someone’s voice tragically can fade, like an echo in the other room.

Healing from grief is a timeless process and this is shown with the lyric: “Who knew forever would last this long”

JXVE honored the memories of many lost souls in the official lyric video. The visual shows JXVE walking past many different scenes with the lyrics carved on the sky backdrop. On social media JXVE offered to etch the name of anyone moved on, for any of his followers lost loved ones. The names were shown on tombstones.

Other lost souls dedicated in the animation are JXVE’s cousin Devin, XXXTENTACION, Lil Peep, Juice WRLD, Nipsey Hussle, King Von, and many others.

Who we lose will always live on by the impact they have on the living. Grief is journey with multiple paths and no final destination. JXVE’s newest song is a beautiful rendition of the healing process.
