Ramir - Better Days

“Better Days” is an introspective song on growing pains. Released by Ramir, a fairly new artist, who’s longterm potential is just blossoming.

The days after high school can be a convoluted mess. It’s not just the adult responsibility, but the emotional jet lag that comes with it. One moment you’re not old enough to even see a rated “R” movie, yet the next moment you have to decide the rest of your future.

Ramir touches on the life adjustment of childhood decay. The older we get the more self contained people become. Out of touch with our inner child and the people we seen daily throughout our time in school.

“My friends don’t care at all. I guess the high school’s wearing off”.

During school students are surrounded by peers (for better or worse). Having multiple people from the same community and age group around you can make you feel more interconnected to those around you.

After high school people sink further into the mud of their own adult woes. This leads to people believing in other people’s dreams less and less. How can you have hope for another soul, when your own hope is being eaten away by your day to day.

Ramir touches on all these sentiments with soft singing and a gentle beat in the background. A truly authentic artist describing the complex concept of “coming to age” after school, in a beautiful two minute song.
