Flames Ohgod - Ciabatta
Flames Ohgod returns on his winning streak with his new single “Ciabatta”. Following three successful albums in 2023, “Ciabatta” is mellow delivered hype-rap track that shows Flames Ohgod rapping ability at his best to date. At the time of this writing, “Ciabatta” has surpassed his 2019 collaboration with Doobie as his most streamed song with currently over 100,000 streams.
The instrumental consists of an up tempo drum pattern with a fast paced piano melody. Used as an exclamation on the beat, is a sample that elevates Flames Ohgod delivery even further. The sample itself is of kids saying “yay” as if it to celebrate Flames Ohgod’s continued musical prowess. Blended together the melody runs parallel yet a breath behind Flames Ohgod’s vocals creating an incredible performance.
Lyrically the song is a flex track of both Flames Ohgod’s resilience against haters and the lengths he will go to further succeed more. Competitive and determined to not only disprove haters but to discredit them as well, Flames Ohgod makes it clear any opposition won’t outlast him.
While using a fast paced performance in his delivery, Flames Ohgod stays consistent with both his vocal clarity and lyrical skill level. At one point mentioning his hometown of Akron and at other moments describing his consistent reward streaks. The blunt honesty drips through his delivery in a way that proves very few artists can match both then authenticity or confidence derived in Flames Ohgod’s music.
Despite being nine years into his Spotify releases,“Ciabatta” shows Flames Ohgod is no where near his creative peak yet. Many other blogs shared “Ciabatta” as well such as: 50 Cent’s ‘This Is 50’ and Adam22’s ‘No Jumper”. Flames Ohgod was also it interviewed on 107.9 ‘The Stamp’, being the first Akron interview. Additionally Flames Ohgod also collected five more awards to end 2023 (from the North America Music Awards, Ohio Entertainment Awards and the Speaker Leaker Awards).
